Nigeria’s National Council of Women’s Societies (NCWS) says it is set to organise a food fair in Abuja, in collaboration with Travel Marketing Partners.
The President of NCWS, Mrs. Gloria Shoda, gave the statement in Abuja, adding that the event is aimed at tackling the perennial food shortage in some parts of the country.
The event tagged: “the First National Unity Food Fair 2018” is to hold from Oct. 15 to Oct. 17 at the Peace Park of the International Conference Centre, Abuja.
Shoda revealed that the 36 States of the federation including FCT, as well as private sector players in the food industry will showcase their products and services.
She said that relevant ministries and agencies of the Nigerian Government would equally be part of the fair.
Mrs. Aisha Buhari, NCWS’s Grand Patron and wife of the President, will be representing Mr. President to declare the event open.
