HOW TO CHECK YOUR JAMB RESULTS

 

Gaining an admission into the preferred choice of university for candidates require students to pass through UTME. Failure to write this examination set up by JAMB (Joint Admission Matriculation Board) definitely leads to inability to earn admission into any tertiary institution in Nigeria.   • Visit the official JAMB result checking portal through this link: https://www.portal.jamb.gov.ng/ExamSlipPrinting/CheckUTMEResults
  • Input your JAMB Registration Number/Email Address in the required column and any other required details on the resulting page.
  • Click on ‘Check My Results’. The subsequent page will slowly load to reveal the status of your results.

How to Check JAMB Result Via SMS

In a bid to allow candidates who may not have the option of Assessing their results online, you can easily get your JAMB results through your mobile device. This is an innovative approach by the examination body to allow candidates different means to check results.

To check your JAMB results through SMS, candidates can easily send ‘RESULT’ to 55019 through SMS on their mobile device. Candidates should however note that they are required to use the contact used during registration to this SMS. A service charge of N50 will also be deducted from your airtime balance, so candidates need to have a minimum of N50 airtime in their balance before sending this message. Once all these conditions are met, your JAMB results will be sent to your line shortly, usually within 5-10 minutes.

 

HOW TO REGISTER FOR JAMB EXAMINATION

 

It should be no news at this stage for candidates aspiring to attend any of the tertiary institutions across Nigeria that writing the JAMB examination is one of the important requirements to earn admission. Each tertiary institutions in Nigeria, from the university, to Polytechnics, colleges of education and many others have requirements which candidates must meet as per their performance in the JAMB examination. This performance is usually measured by the Cumulative score or grading earned by candidates during the examination. Buying this recommended novel is mandatory as it will be needed to answer questions from English language which is a compulsory subject for all candidates to write. You might also be required to pay additional fees for your registration at accredited JAMB registration centers.

JAMB Examination Pre-Registration Procedures

There are many things candidates should consider before proceeding to register for JAMB examination. This will help candidates avoid mistakes which may prove to be disastrous for the admission you seek.

The first step to take in registering for the exam is the creation of a JAMB profile. A profile is usually created using a profile code provided by JAMB on their online portal. The profile code is easily generated using a mobile device. Registration can then be initiated after this profile code has been acquired.

Next up is getting your E-pin. This is a code which is unique to your JAMB profile for your registration process. There are numerous JAMB accredited centers with the authority to sell these E-pins to candidates intending to write the exam. All you need to do is to locate any of the accredited JAMB centers around you to obtain your own copy.

After getting your own copy of the E-pin, the registration process can commence properly.
